The 1990's saw a tremendous increase in the cost of operating a soccer association. One of greatest costs was in accommodations. On behalf of Aylwards Ltd., Fab took on the financial obligation of looking after the 1st Division Challenge Cup team's stay at the Airport Inn In St. John's. The estimated cost of this amount is unbelievably high and lessened the burden not only on the Soccer Association but also on the public of St. Lawrence.

Mr. Fab's contribution allowed the Senior Laurentians to concentrate on playing soccer, which resulted in their tremendous success over the past ten years.

The St. Lawrence Soccer Association is proud to name the late Fab Aylward to the St. Lawrence Soccer Wall of Honour.
